Jim Barth | J.D., MBA

Associate Broker

Coming from Southern California’s South Bay, Jim Barth formally began his real estate career in 1981, while completing his bachelor’s degree in real estate finance and two graduate degrees, in law and business, from the University of San Diego. Since then, he has attained broad professional experience in brokerage, finance, law and development.

After moving to Park City, Utah in the early-1990s, Jim served for several years as in-house counsel with The Prudential Coleman Real Estate and as the Director of the Coleman Consulting Group. He specialized in entitlement, pre-development and brokerage-related matters throughout the Intermountain West.

Jim next became a partner with the law firm of Johnson, Holbrook and Schifferli, LLC, representing some of Park City and Deer Valley’s most prominent property owners and their real estate interests.

Jim decided to retire from the practice of law in 2003 and transition to status as a full-time Broker. In his first year of selling resort investment real estate, he was honored by the Park City Board of Realtors with both their “Rookie of the Year” and “Professional Achievement awards.”

Alongside these professional ventures, Jim provided service for his community on the Park City Planning Commission for over a decade, acting as chair for three terms, in addition to sitting on the Summit County Planning Commission and, as Chairman, on the Summit County Water Concurrency Board. Jim also joined the Board of Directors for both the Utah Association of Realtors and Recycle Utah.

Looking for his next adventure, Jim moved to the red rocks of Southern Utah in 2015, from where he can explore the many natural beauties the surrounding environment has to offer.

Nancy Barth | M.S., MBA

Business Manager

Originally from Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood, Nancy Barth has garnered extensive financial, marketing and analytical experiences throughout her careers in accounting and business. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Colgate University, with the designation of Magna Cum Laude, and received a master’s in accounting from NYU. While in New York, she worked on Wall Street for many years as a CPA with KPMG, one of the “Big-4” accounting firms, later transferring to the organization’s office in San Francisco’s financial district.

Nancy moved to the Village of La Jolla, California in the mid-1980s, establishing a high-end women’s boutique clothing shop. While building the shop into a highly successful enterprise, Nancy earned an MBA from the University of San Diego, notably becoming valedictorian of all graduate programs. She sold the boutique in the early-1990s and moved with her husband, Jim Barth, to Park City, Utah, transitioning to work as a full-time mother. She additionally continued her entrepreneurial pursuits by owning and operating a private accounting practice.

After selling her firm, Nancy began focusing on supporting the backend organization of Jim’s burgeoning real estate practice, managing client care services, database design, statistical analysis and marketing.

Nancy moved to sunny Southern Utah in 2015, where she enjoys hiking the red rocks and exploring the many nearby national parks and forests.
